New Low-Loss Low-Permittivity Adaptor

Today’s solutions for tomorrow’s needs: We have redesigned the phone holder to make it faster and easier for you to comply with good laboratory practice when assessing specific absorption rate (SAR) compliance. SPEAG’s new MDA4SPV6 low-loss low permittivity adaptor reduces any influence of the holder to less than 0.1dB, is easy to use and compatible with the existing DASY mounting device. The device under test (DUT) is attached with the same Velcro-tape that is already widely applied in our OTA products and proven to be accurate and repeatable in positioning the mobile phone within the spacer/setup. EUmmWV2 probe enables precise very close near-field measurements for frequencies up to 110 GHz

SPEAG has announced a major breakthrough for 5G certifications: a novel millimetre-wave E-field probe that permits precise very close near-field measurements for frequencies up to 110 GHz! Accreditation for ISO17025 calibration will be obtained within the next months. In addition, they are close to resolving the problem of total field reconstruction at distances as close as 2 mm from the surface of any transmitter. The complete solutions for DASY6 and IECy, i.e., fully integrated probes with optimized scanning profile and novel reconstruction algorithm, are expected to be released before the end of February. SPEAG invests in the future of dry SAR testing systems: New standards drive dedicated cSAR3D Cal Lab

SPEAG takes the lead to provide its customers with a fully compliant solution before the release of the IEC 62209/ Part 3 SAR testing standard. To achieve this, we have built the first ISO17025 calibration facility for vector-array systems that warranty maximum precision and reproducibility. Our dedicated Cal Lab «Ally Pally» has a capacity of four cSAR3D units per week with four robot-based calibration stations in a fully shielded, self-contained environment. Now Possible: Near–Field Characterization of WPT Systems

Previously, it has been impossible to fully characterize the near-field of wireless power transfer systems (WPT). Today, we are pleased to release the new magnetic and electric free-space probes HL3DV2 and EL3DV2, allowing fast and accurate measurements in closest proximity of sources operating as low as 4 MHz. These new probes are compatible with both DASY and EASY. In combination with the dosimetric probe operating from 4 MHz – 10 GHz, SPEAG now offers all tools to test compliance of WPT and other transmitters operating in the low MHz range.

RapidTherm

RapidTherm offers the advantage of a single zone chamber design that can perform thermal shock testing without moving the device under test. These chambers can be used for both linear ramping of 5ºC-30ºC per minute and extremely fast air temperature change rates of more than 60ºC per minute without the use of LN2 or CO2.
